Let us be very clear: no "pandemic" suspends the rule of law in America, our Constitution.
It is a shocking statement that could easily be attributed to a third world dictator. When asked about election legislation this week, the president of the United States of America stated, “It’s not who can vote, but who gets to count the vote. Who counts the vote—that’s what this is about.” The definition of a political gaffe is when a politician accidentally tells you what they really think. And what President Biden really thinks is that the Feds should take over elections, stripping states of their election responsibilities as designated by the U.S. Constitution. The Dems want to control who counts the votes.
These United States are in the midst of creating new Congressional maps for the 2022 election. Things don’t look great for the Democrats. Not only did core Democrat states lose population because large numbers of their citizens voted with their feet, but those citizens also ended up in Red States. Making matters worse for the Democrats, in 23 states, the GOP controls the state legislature and the governor’s mansion. The Democrats only have that advantage in 14 states. So while Illinois Democrats can rejoice at forcing arch-conservative Adam Kinzinger from office, Texas gains two seats.
WATCH: Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling will unveil on Thursday, Oct. 28 the results of an extensive investigation regarding possible election law violations throughout Racine County and Wisconsin.
The1 Constitution reserves to the States the primary authority to set election legislation and administer elections—the “times, places, and manner of holding of elections”—and Congress’ power in this space is purely secondary to the States’ power. Congress’ power is to be employed only in the direst of circumstances.2 Despite Democrats’ insistence that Congress’ power over elections is unfettered and permits Congress to enact sweeping legislation like H.R. 1, it is simply not true. History, precedent, the Framers’ words, debates concerning ratification, the Supreme Court, and the Constitution itself make this exceedingly clear.
The Tennessee Legislature has passed legislation that would require all absentee ballots to contain a watermark for added security.
Remember all those media anchors repeating in lockstep, "unfounded claims of voting fraud...?" We all know vote fraud exists and is present in every election. Here's an explanation illustrating just a few of the ways election fraud exists.
Talk about voter suppression... New Jersey Governor Philip D. Murphy: ‘I think if you refuse to wear a mask, we’re not letting you in. It’s that simple.’ The NJ governor needs a refresher on civil rights as he's treating American's most fundamental civil rights like privileges. Will his tyrannical thinking expand to vaccinations?
Democratic leaders no longer even try to hide their real objectives. All of the bills introduced by Democratic lawmakers of late have been undisguised power grabs.
One clear message coming out of a Thursday news conference with congressional Democrats is that their court-packing plan is really about the future of how elections are conducted in the United States.
