Greetings, y’all! For those of you who answered the call to action and challenged your Congressional Representatives to focus the 2024 NDAA on military readiness, not leftist wokeness, congratulations on your success with the House of Representatives vote. Normally the NDAA is a strongly bipartisan piece of legislation, but this vote was very telling. The final tally was 219-210 for passage, with four Democrats voting for, and four Republicans voting against it. There can be no debate that the current state of our military is not optimal, the retention and recruiting numbers do not lie. It is obvious that the Biden administration and the progressive socialist leftists are not concerned with improving our military readiness, but rather the implementation of their destructive ideological agenda which the House 2024 NDAA defunds.
Now the fight moves to the US Senate, and we must be even more vigilant. We must not lose sight of the House of Representatives because there will be a conference reconciliation process for the 2024 NDAA. We must demand that, unlike with the debt ceiling vote, the House GOP stays the course and doesn’t cave to authorizing, and appropriating, any leftist wokeness in our military. And if Joe Biden issues the threat of a veto, so be it, let it go on record that he doesn’t want military readiness over leftist wokeness.
The new call to action is to contact your Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) member and the greater Senate GOP membership and tell them to vote for military readiness, not leftist wokeness. I would especially recommend that you contact the office of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and express your sentiment. As well, contact the office of US Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala) and congratulate him for his stance. It is imperative that the message be sent that the Department of Defense is in violation of the Hyde Amendment by unconstitutionally using taxpayer funds to support the murder of unborn babies in the womb by dismemberment. So much for SecDef Lloyd Austin believing in “generational service” as a sustaining factor for our military since his memo enables the murder of future generations of Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Guardians.
Reemphasize to your senators that you do not want drag queen recruiters in our Navy, nor do we want more demoralizing “recruitment” pictures such as that of US Army Major Jones, an overweight, suicidal individual suffering from the mental condition of gender dysphoria. You do not want any more authorization and funding for cultural Marxist programs, policies, offices, and political Kommissars in our military. As well, we expect a return to meritocracy and an end to race-based preferences, as the recent SCOTUS decision ruled, in our Service Academies.
Another added issue to present to your senator has to do with the nomination of current US Air Force Chief of Staff, General Charles “CQ” Brown, to be the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Gen. Brown is nothing more than Al Sharpton in a military uniform. Here are some links you can read and forward to your respective Senators:
- The Conservative Action Project (CAP) letter calling for conservatives to oppose the nomination of General Brown.
- General Charles Q. Brown, Too Many Red Flags
- My interview on the Vince Coglianese Show, July 11, 2023.
These resources will enable you to understand why the nomination of Gen. Brown must be withdrawn and opposed by the SASC and full Senate body.
One of the things we must learn from the progressive socialist left is to be vigilant, resolute, relentless, and untiring in our stance on critical positions. I cannot think of any issue that is more critical at this point than our military readiness. The House NDAA has angered the leftists, well, to that I say, “Game On!” Let’s meet them on the battlefield of contrasting ideologies and not allow them to overtake our military and turn our Armed Forces into some rainbow Marxist equity-centered joke.
Our rallying cry is “Military Readiness, Not Leftist Wokeness!”
Steadfast and Loyal.
