Greetings y’all, I just finished ordering a birthday cake for someone turning 250 years old this Saturday…and no, they are not receiving social security. This Saturday, June 14th, is the 250th anniversary of the founding of our United States Army, June 14, 1775, by the Continental Congress. The amazing thing about this, along with the establishment of our US Navy (October 1775) and US Marine Corps (November 1775), is that before there was an America, there was an Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. Before there was a Nation, there were those who would take a position on freedom’s rampart. See, America is not a geographical place, it is an ideal, a concept, a vision of natural rights theory, individual sovereignty over the institution of government, self-governance, and honoring individual liberties and rights…and I mean for citizens!
June 14th is also Flag Day, when we honor the symbol of our Nation, which has gone through several iterations of development. And so, it is quite fitting that the birthday, establishment, of the United States Army coincides with Flag Day. Why? Because the motto of the US Army is “This We’ll Defend,” not just a commitment to terra firma, but instead to a core set of principles, beliefs, and values. It is why our Soldiers, and others in uniform, take an oath to the Constitution of the United States, our rule of law, that which embodies us as an American people. There are those of us who take that oath and realize that it has no statute of limitations. And there are those who are just “posers” and never truly embrace the meaning of that oath, that sacred commitment, for which many men and women have made the ultimate sacrifice to honor.
Currently, the American Constitutional Rights Union (ACRU) is identifying and honoring law enforcement officers who uphold their oath with our Defender Initiative. We are also alerting you, the American people, to those who refuse to enforce the law, namely that which relates to protecting our national sovereignty and your domestic safety and security. As a matter of fact, in the preamble to our Constitution, one of the directed tasks of the federal government is to “insure domestic tranquility.”
So, perhaps progressive socialist, Marxist, leftists are a little confused when it comes to the events happening in Los Angeles, California.
It never ceases to amaze me how so many were silent as they watched our Constitution being violated by the open borders policy of the Biden-Harris “autopen” administration. Our Nation was invaded by single military age males and females, who illegally crossed into our Country and were given free entry…not to mention free taxpayer-funded benefits. We watched them storm and overrun uniformed National Guardsmen. We heard of terms such as “got aways” in numbers of millions. Yet, we were told that our border was secure, as if we were not supposed to believe our own eyes…and I visited the Texas border quite often. We allowed a “predatory incursion” to happen over a four-year period, and if you are not familiar, those are the verbatim words from the 1798 Alien Enemies Act.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans died because of fentanyl, a chemical warfare attack, and more Americans died at the hands of criminal illegal immigrants. Yet, the Biden-Harris “autopen” administration forgot about their oath to our Constitution…they didn’t defend it. I guess they were too busy telling us what type of car to drive, house to build, shower head to have, water to flush, dishwasher to have, and stove to own. Hmm, one with common sense would call that tyrannical. And now, the ramifications and consequences of their absurdity and nefarious disregard for our rule of law have come to roost.
Criminal illegal immigrants, such as the ones the autopen allowed into our Country, possess no rights, especially the right to remain in our Country. And we are not talking about nice people but rather murderers, rapists, child sex predators, those who assault us. Just ask the families of Laken Riley, Ava Moore, and the woman set afire on a subway in New York. And yet, leftists, Democrats, are fighting for them? They are supporting them to remain amongst us, and continue their predatory incursion? Why?
The answer is simple: the leftist commitment to open borders and illegal immigration far outweighs any devotion to our rule of law, the Constitution, and your safety and security. They have no qualms with the American flag being burned, while the Mexican and Hamas flags wave. They have no problems with referring to a true insurrection as a “peaceful protest.” Yes, that is what it is based upon the left’s own definition. Oops, sorry to have pointed out that hypocrisy, shame upon me. If it is something that supports the leftist ideological agenda, it is perfectly fine. Only January 6th meets their criteria of an insurrection.
And so it is, this June 14th, as we gather here at Ft. West as a family to cut the Army birthday cake, leftists are calling for a nationwide protest. As I stand with my two sons in law, one a 12-year Army Reserve veteran and the other a commissioned US Army Reserve Chaplain, sing the Army song, and commit ourselves to our motto, “This We’ll Defend,” leftists will take to the streets to destroy that multiple generations in my family took an oath to “support and defend.” I am quite sure that burning the American flag will be a favored endeavor by these insurrectionist leftists and jihadists on what is Flag Day.
A week after the 81st anniversary of D-Day, leftists will spit in the eye of the memory of soldiers who accomplished an impeccable feat of courage and bravery. This is not acceptable; it is disgusting. This is what we must not forget when November 2026 rolls around, and November 2028 after that. It is time we all rally around the Flag as our standard and commit to three simple words, “This We’ll Defend.” Parents and Grandparents, if you have a child who participates in these insurrectionist activities in support of criminal illegal immigrants, it is time to have a hard conversation with your progeny…unless you are out there supporting this insanity as well.
Let’s not allow the defiling of June 14th to happen…it is the 250th birthday of our US Army, and the day we give reverence to our symbol, the American flag. This we’ll defend, and let your voice be heard, not just this Saturday, but every day going forward. Remember, soldiers take an oath to support and defend our Constitution against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic.
