It was just a few weeks back that I penned a piece titled, “Is Islam Compatible With Our Constitutional Freedoms?” It was a simple question that just required an honest analysis and assessment, not emotional ranting. Here in Texas, especially North Texas, we are facing an incredible challenge with Islamo-fascist infiltration. Just yesterday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott designated the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) a terrorist organization. I applaud Governor Abbott for taking this action. There are many people who do not know the history of CAIR, and its relation to the State of Texas.

Background Reading

I would submit to everyone reading this missive to download the Strategic Memorandum of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America. This document was written by Mohammed Akhram in 1991 and is exactly what it says, the blueprint for Islamo-fascist infiltration into our Country. It goes so far as to list the organizations that will be used to fulfill this strategic objective.

This very document was uncovered in a 2004 FBI raid in Northern Virginia and was translated. It was introduced as evidence in the largest Islamic terrorist organization funding trial in US history, the Holy Land Foundation case, in 2008. That trial was held here in Texas. In that trial, one of the ensuing decisions was the designation of CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in the case. Our very own FBI cut off any relations with CAIR, yet they still maintain a headquarters in Washington, DC, on Capitol Hill. For those who are aware of CAIR and its activities, it is easily deduced that they are an associate of the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization that many classify as Hamas in America.

CAIR in Texas

But we should also be aware of the recent actions of CAIR in Texas after the January 1st Islamic terrorist attack in New Orleans on Bourbon Street, where 15 Americans were killed and another 30 injured, executed by ISIS-inspired Shamsud-Din Jabbar. These vehicle ramming attacks have come to be a modus operandi for jihadists. Jabbar attended the Masjid Bilal mosque in Houston. After his terrorist attack, the imam of that mosque issued a statement to its congregants advising them to refer any media or FBI inquiries to CAIR or the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH) for legal guidance.

To put it bluntly, CAIR, the unindicted co-conspirator in an Islamic terrorist organization funding trial, was referred to in order to impede an investigation into an Islamic terrorist attack. And make no mistake, that is what it was.

Of course, as usual, CAIR is responding with their typical Islamophobia and victimization rhetoric, saying that Governor Abbott is targeting them and violating their First Amendment rights.

Rights?

This begs the question: Does an organization linked to Islamic terrorism in the United States have a First Amendment right? Matter of fact, do any of the organizations listed in the Strategic Memorandum of the Muslim Brotherhood have a right to exist, operate, and function in the United States? At the core of the EPIC City issue in Texas, which they are slyly renaming The Meadow, you will find CAIR and their illicit fundraising. This is what Governor Abbott, or someone advising him, has realized and is proactively attempting to intercept.

I would encourage President Trump to follow suit and finally designate the Muslim Brotherhood as an Islamic terrorist organization, along with the affiliate organizations named in its Strategic Memorandum. We must stem the wanton infiltration of Islamo-fascism in our Country.

Unless someone can correct me, I have not seen a single Islamist organization release a statement condemning the genocide being enacted against Christians in Sudan and Nigeria by Islamic jihadists. That is quite telling, and let’s not recall the statement of the Mayor of Dearborn, Michigan, to a Christian minister that he was not welcome in “his city.” All because this Pastor disagreed with a street being named after a Hamas supporter. Lest we forget that Hamas is an Islamic terrorist group that killed Americans on October 7, 2023.

When an enemy tells you who they are and their strategic objectives, you have two choices: reduce the threat or stupidly allow it to thrive.

The Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) truly is not compatible with our Constitutional values and principles. And down here in Texas, due to its past egregious actions, it is not wanted.

Steadfast and Loyal.
