Today at Fort Jackson, my son-in-law, Chaplain First Lieutenant Jadavion Bernard Durden, graduated from the Chaplain Officer Basic Course.
I am proud of him, the legacy of service he continues, and every chaplain who graduated alongside him. They are soldiers of God and soldiers of the United States Army, serving those who have pledged to support and defend our Constitution.
God bless our chaplains, our soldiers, and this great nation.
