- At least 17 years old and a high school senior or older?
- Interested in earning a paycheck while serving the community?

1. To become an election worker, review the Election Worker Flyer and complete the Election Worker Application.
2. Return the completed application to electionworker@sos.la.gov, send to your parish Clerk of Court’s Office or the address below.
3. The parish Clerk of Court’s office or registrar will contact you with your next steps.

Job Description:
- Election Day Worker- works only on Election Day
Earn up to $200
Arrive at least 30 min- 1 hour prior to polls opening
Able to work for the entire day
- Early Voting Worker- works for 7 days excluding Sundays
Earns $100 per day
Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to polls opening
Able to work for the entire day
- Absentee Worker- works Board of Election Supervisors meeting days
Earn $50 per meeting
You will be notified about the time of meeting but expect to work at least 4 hours
You must be able to:
- Provide your own transportation to your assigned precinct
- You must remain at your assigned location all day, you are unble to leave during your shift
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided for you
