Ron DeSantis, Florida governor, executive order to ban ‘vaccine passports’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has taken a national lead in opposing a federal takeover of your private life and personal decisions through a “vaccine passport.” The Governor issued an Executive Order banning this encroachment on more rights than we can count. We hope other governors follow his lead in defending the Constitution and their constituents and that the Florida legislature turns the language in this executive order into some strong legislation.

Euthanasia by bureaucrats in LA

The first right in America’s first founding document is “life.” Yet Los Angeles County is instructing paramedics to withhold treatment and hospital transport from COVID patients perceived as in end stages of life. This is morally reprehensible for the patient—and for paramedics who dedicate their lives to saving others, and should not be forced to make decisions of who lives or dies. This puts LA in its own hideous class of COVID crisis tyrants.

In a country “born of civil defiance” . . . what now?

As crisis tyrants continue to target churches, and liberals call peaceful protestors “treasonous,” where should we stand on civil disobedience? This article by our friend Larry Reed at FEE is just as relevant now as it was when he wrote it in May — in fact, more so. If our liberty comes from our Creator, and therefore cannot be abridged by man, then where better to start with peaceful civil disobedience than in defense of religious liberty?

Michigan Governor Whitmer is a giant among tyrants

When Gov. Whitmer earned her ACRU “Crisis Tyrant” designation in April, even we could not project how far her dictatorial behavior would go. Phill Kline of the public interest law firm Amistad Project, sums it up perfectly, noting the Governor has ordered destruction of forensic evidence while also threatening criminal prosecution against any legislators or citizens who fight her corruption and tyranny.

Crisis tyrants v. Football Mom

Un-masked Mom fully distanced with her own family in bleachers. Bullying cop pulls her up and tases her for not wearing a mask. No matter what your position on masks, this is a DISGRACE and another example of Crisis Tyrants in action.

Won’t open church? Then we’ll worship amongst the slot machines

The liberal governor of Nevada unilaterally decided casinos could hold thousands of people and churches (regardless of capacity) could only have 50. Liberal Supreme Court justices and Chief Justice Roberts threw religious freedom under the bus by agreeing. But a group of worshipers found a workaround to exercise their Constitutional rights. Perfect. Brilliant.

Justice Roberts becomes the anti-religious freedom swing vote

An un-Constitutional and absurd ruling from the Supreme Court last week decided a Nevada church had to adhere to arbitrary and biased COVID guidelines from its liberal governor. Democrat Governor Sisolak is allowing hundreds of people into bars and casinos but only 50 souls per church without even considering church size. Casting the First Amendment to the wind, liberal justices were joined by Justice Roberts in pretending our first freedoms are less important than cocktails and Blackjack.
