Michigan Democrat election clerk logs on to alter ballots

Please share this article with the next liberal who tells you there is no voter fraud, but it’s Republicans doing it. A Democratic city clerk in Southfield, Michigan was honored in 2019 by the Michigan State Democratic party with the Levin/Dingell Award. Moving on to 2020, she was arrested and charge with multiple felonies for allegedly altering absentee ballots. Election integrity groups are now calling for a review of all elections she may or may not have fudged.

ACRU lawsuit still making a difference in Broward County

ACRU sued Broward County Election Supervisor Brenda Snipes in 2016 for not maintaing voter rolls, thus opening the door for fraud. She lost her job, and pro-vote integrity Pete Antonacci was appointed by then-Gov. Rick Scott. Florida’s upcoming primary is March 17th, and all (Irish and otherwise) eyes are on Broward. So far, it seems Antonacci has done all the right things to secure the county’s votes in anticipation of the national scrutiny that will be on Broward on November 3.

ACRU lawsuit still making a difference in Starr County, Texas

In 2016, ACRU successfully sued Starr County, Texas for not maintaining voter rolls. It in settlement with ACRU, the county agreed to implement critical action items to remove ineligible voters from its lists. Now, once again, “politiqueras” — campaign activists paid to collect mail-in ballots from people and “encourage” them to vote a certain way—are showing up. Since our lawsuit, Starr County officials are now diligently watching for fraud, and recently found some. They are getting tips and prosecuting offenders. Thumbs up to Starr County.

Vote fraud? There’s an App for that

Vote counting in the Iowa Democrat caucus was a mess. The app built by a company aptly called “Shadow,” created results that were delayed, partially released, partially reversed, and just an epic fail. Shadow is a company created by former Hillary Clinton staffers. Caucus officials are also now refusing to correct errors on worksheets. Lesson? 1. Stay away from vote counting apps created by political operatives. 2. Phone-based voting has the potential to mess up a lot more than one primary.

Good guys with guns tour a state capitol and fun breaks out

We love the picture in this article, so make sure you look. Apparently in Kentucky, you can’t bring an umbrella into the capitol building, but you can bring a gun. Irritated by Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, who tried to accuse VA lawful gun owners of being criminals before a fully armed, fully peaceful pro-2A rally on January 20th, KY gun owners decided to march on their capital in solidarity. The armed protestors loved the statues and paintings, had a great time, and not a single bad thing happened. Daniel Boone would be proud. We certainly are.

ACRU Editorial: Bloomberg’s Big Money Shenanigans in Virginia

Writing for RealClearPolicy, ACRU/ACRU Action Fund identifies Virginia’s 2019 elections as the canary in the liberal coal mine for the November 2020 elections. Michael Bloomberg spent $2.5 million to turn the state blue by instilling fear in voters about lawful gun ownership—and it worked. Liberals are looking to turn the majority of state governments and the White House blue, and Virginia is now pushing an armful of leftist bills through the legislature after their win. Going forward, their VA plan deserves careful scrutiny.

Purge this

Progressive activists love to use scary words to persuade people that good is really bad and lawful is unfair. Nothing is more true than their use of “purge” as a disingenuous euphemism for clearing voter rolls of illegal or deceased voters, or those who have moved. The Brennan Center for Justice is a left leaning advocacy group openly funded by George Soros. Their recent short analysis uses “purge” 20 times in discussing states’ efforts to comply with NVRA mandated guidelines on removing the dead, illegal or relocated from rolls where they shouldn’t be in the first place. It appears the leftists at Brennan don’t want any voters removed from anywhere, demonstrating a tacit acknowledgment that non-legitimate voters are inclined to vote for progressive candidates that Soros and the Brennan Center favors.

Redistricting; reapportionment, we can’t call the whole thing off

If you sometimes are befuddled by the intersection of the census, redistricting and reapportionment—what each means, how they all talk to each other—don’t feel bad; it is confusing. This article uses Pennsylvania as a demonstration of what census numbers mean for redistricting (“how areas will be divided into districts based on the number of seats a state has”) and reapportionment (“the process of deciding how many seats a state will have in the House of Representatives based on changes in population.”) Things that don’t need explanation: census collection will be infiltrated by liberal activists looking to skew Congressional districts in their favor.

Double double, fraud and trouble

Thanks to ACRU Policy Board Member Hans von Spakovsky and Kaitlynn Samalis-Aldrich, a researcher at the Meese Center (founded by ACRU Board Member Ed Meese,) for doubling up on this great article about double voting. Listing numerous recent, demonstrable cases of double voting in several states, they note in particular a history of double voting in Ohio, a state where 56 elections between 2013 - 2017 resulted in a tie vote and 86 were decided by only one vote. There are a lot of cases of double voting that we know about —how many do we not? Voter ID matters. Matching your face to your name to your ballot is a simple fix and the only reason we can think anyone would be against it would be to encourage cheating.

NYC liberals pick criminal aliens over innocent residents

New York City's unlawful and dangerous sanctuary city policy and refusal to cooperate with ICE detainers continues to collect victims. The latest list of crimes by criminal illegal aliens called out by ICE include a 92 year old woman raped and murdered on the street. Also, nine (alleged) criminal most recently released by Mayor de Blasio and his fellow liberals have a laundry list of crimes including: robbery, assault, harassment, weapons charges, assault with a vehicle and resisting arrest. These are just a few of the violent illegal aliens let loose on the legal residents of New York City. As with the Chicago story above, NYC's corrupt political class is turning its citizens into victims. Until they vote these irresponsible officials out of office they are all going to be at serious physical risk.
