About ACRU Staff

The American Constitutional Rights Union (ACRU) is dedicated to defending the constitutional rights of all Americans. ACRU stands against harmful, anti-constitutional ideologies that have taken hold in our nation’s courts, culture, and bureaucracies. We defend and promote free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment, and national sovereignty.

Message to American companies: quit suppressing speech!

Free speech is not just a Constitutional protection that protects us from government tyranny, but it is a guiding principle of our society and a cornerstone of our liberty. One group of Americans with one ideological belief system should not use their power to suppress the speech of others. A number of conservative constitutionalists have come together to hold US corporations accountable when they become weaponized corporate tools of the left.

New election integrity tool: state Election Integrity Ratings

ACRU Action applauds Concerned Women for America for their new State Election Integrity Scorecard. With liberal Democrats constantly trying to water down vote protections, it is critical to know how your state fares in protecting your vote. Only one state gets an “A” on CWA’s Election Integrity Rating. See where your state falls in this important ranking.

Flickertail State further codifies the individual rights of the faithful

Kudos to North Dakota legislators for pushing a bill that that will restrict state bureaucrats from blocking worship and religious practices during a state of emergency while ensuring that participation in faith activities is not treated with punitive bias. In theory, Constitutional rights should not need “extra” state protections, but we have learned that they do. Other states should follow suit.

Michigan AG arrests woman business owner for …. appearing on Tucker Carlson?

Perhaps the only politician in Michigan less concerned with individual rights and economic freedom than Gov. Whitmer is her despotic AG, Dana Nessell. Ms. Marlena Pavlos-Hackney (who fled communist rule only to find it again in Michigan) appeared on Fox and complained of the Governor’s treatment of small businesses, and then was arrested with the AG noting that her TV appearance was a problem. You can read Ms. Nessell’s statement in this article; a paraphrase just can’t cover the vitriol and inappropriateness of her position.

Ron DeSantis, Florida governor, executive order to ban ‘vaccine passports’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has taken a national lead in opposing a federal takeover of your private life and personal decisions through a “vaccine passport.” The Governor issued an Executive Order banning this encroachment on more rights than we can count. We hope other governors follow his lead in defending the Constitution and their constituents and that the Florida legislature turns the language in this executive order into some strong legislation.

“For the People Act” is Really the “Corrupt Politicians Act”

After a careful review of the For the People Act (H.R. 1 / S. 1) currently awaiting action in the U.S. Senate, American Constitutional Rights Union Action Fund has concluded this intentionally complex and confusing legislation not only puts the rights of every American voter at risk, but silences many American voices while elevating the “free speech” of politicians over that of their constituents.

The Moment Rose Wilder Lane’s Faith in Communism Was Pierced

No one understands the dangers of creeping socialism and communism better than those who have lived under it, but also those who once supported it but turned to individual liberty and economic freedom instead. Such is the case of Rose Wilder Lane (daughter of Laura Ingalls Wilder.) Her journey from communism to freedom is brilliant, and a story still needing to be told.
